We arrived on the 30th to 78 degrees and the bluest Florida skies. It felt so good to be back on The Last Resort. After we unloaded the car we called our friend Bruce and Ann. They came by later and we caught up on all the stuff for the last month. We went downtown for dinner and then back to the boat for cocktails. The downtown area is so vibrant and always full of people. When we go out with them we always have so much fun. I said when we got back to the boat that I had to rest the next day from laughing so much.

It is now the last day of the year, New Year's eve and Ft Myers is preparing for a big party and we plan to be part of it. Bruce got us dinner reservations at Morgan House for 10PM. Perfect time to have dinner and catch the ball dropping in the City Square. After the ball dropped they had a great fireworks display. We all had a blast and it was so much fun. Great dinner and great friends, great time. What a way to end the year.... Five, four, three, two, one..... Happy New Year...... Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind?
