Well we got up on Sunday and said we are gone. Weather had cleared and the water was calm. We left at 7:45 AM and had smooth sailing till about 12:30 and then it started to get a little rough. Don thinks that most of the waves were around 6+ feet and the we got some that weer 7+ feet. We had these waves all the way to Mackinac Island, about four hours. It was so nice to finally get to the Marina and tie up. We stayed at the State Marina and it was great. We went for a walk and saw so many Lopper's on our dock. Don had a great time talking to all of them. Went to dinner at Pink Pony and to watch the closing of the Olympics. Had a super whitefish dinner and bruschetta bread. The town is so beautiful and quaint. And the bike everywhere, so amazing. Went for a long bike ride by this hole in the rock. We cannot wait till tomorrow morning.
